Jean-Philippe Puig is CEO of Avril SCA. A former graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, Jean-Philippe began his career in 1983 in the aluminum industry, working in the Research and Development division of the Pechiney group. Over the years, he has held operational, commercial and managerial positions in France and abroad. In 2012, he joined Sofiprotéol, which, under his leadership, embarked on its transformation and became Avril in 2015. As CEO of the company, he is working to create a leading industrial and financial group among the food industry leaders, spearheading the development of the French oil and protein industry in France and internationally. Over the past 10 years, Jean-Philippe has initiated a new dynamic, which is now taking shape through the reaffirmation of the Group's business model, through its raison d'être, Serving the Earth, and its ambition to become the leader in plant-based solutions, serving the agricultural, food and environmental transitions.
